Not Impressed

Nope. I'm not impressed with spring so far.
This is my forsythia bush. It looks pretty ugly.
It should be bursting forth with beautiful yellow blooms.

It is really trying.

I see some promise.

Maybe really soon.

I truly hope so. I want and need some spring.
Any signs of spring in your neck of the woods, yet?

Yep,I did one post, and now, I'll be able to post areas in full bloom. The temp yesterday here was 78 degrees. Today 65. lows are now in the 40's. So, I'm bracing for the 80-90's next month! Yours' will be blooming soon! Happy Spring!

The only sign of spring here is one brave, little snowdrop blooming through the snow! sigh

Oh, Cindy! I feel your pain as the snowflakes fell today...the first day of Spring. There's not a bloom in sight except for my neighbors pussy willows.
We need to be patient. It won't be long and lawns will need mowing and weeds a pullin!
Smiles,

Yes, there are many signs of spring here, but the possibility of snow tonight and tomorrow may put a freezing end to all the blossoms! And, maybe no fruit on the trees this year! I'm keeping my fingers crossed the weather man is wrong!
Hugs!

Here in Cape Town we are suppose to be in Autumn but are still getting scorchingly hot days with Mother Earth cooling herself down with a spattering of rain on the odd day!

Mine was so big and I butchered it in the Fall. Wishing I hadn't. Would like to force some branches.
