Life Is Unpredictable

Yesterday, I was outside raking leaves with the sun shining and a warm, gentle breeze upon my back.
This morning I woke up with snow on the ground and a wind chill in the 20's.
Life is definitely unpredictable.

I have been missing in action here for months.
It started with a death in the family. And then another death in the family.
I find myself with worry and concern for my father and my father-in-law who are on their own now.
One is in bad health and the other is 90 years old.
They both insist on living on their own in their homes.
We live 6 hours away which is a major problem.

I do want to thank everyone for your concerns and comments.
And I appreciate the new readers who have stopped by to say hi and old friends who have stopped by to check up on me.
I apologize for not keeping up and for not contacting everyone personally.
I will admit that due to these family circumstances, my life has become a little unpredictable.

I hope to find my rhythm and routine again sometime soon.
Thank you my friends for understanding.

Don't worry about the blog you need to think of your needs at this time. You are doing a great job taking care of family.

I can relate, after losing my dad 1 1/2 years ago I'm finally getting back into my old routine! I can't believe it's taken this long. We all look forward to your return.

So sorry to hear about all the heartache. It is difficult when you are so far away from elderly family. Sometimes we have to do what we can and trust God for the rest. I am just getting back. Into the swing of things myself. Just been so busy. Have a great week and take care. Blessings!

Morning Cindy, I have been thinking about you of late...glad you were able to post so we know you are alright. Life is good, but Life has it's ups and downs. I pray you continue to find strength and God guides you every step of the way. We all know blogging is fun but there is a real world/life out there. My prayers are with you....remember "The Joy of the Lord is your strength" give it all to him...Roxie

Cindy, I stumbled upon your sweet blog back before these traumatic events happened in your family and I actually started by blog and started following yours... what seems to be right at that time. I am so sorry your family has suffered so much loss. It does take time to get your life back together after that but God is good, isn't he? I just want to tell you that I am really glad you are back and looking forward to new posts from you!

Blessings,
Debby

I was just thinking about you the other day. I'm so sorry to hear about the losses you have had. It is so worry-some when our parents get older and still want to live in their home...and harder still when they don't live close by. You have been in my thoughts and prayers and will continue to be.
Sending hugs your way,
Cindy
