Eternal Spring Is In My Heart

I know that spring is officially here in 14 days.
I think someone forgot to give Mother Nature a kind reminder.

We awoke this morning to over 20" of freshly fallen snow.
Shoveling paths for the dogs (and the poor, little birds) began at 6:30 a.m.

Snow drifts made art sculptures in the yard and it is all so pretty, but this much snow is causing problems in our area.
There are miles and miles of stranded motorists on the interstate so the National Guard has been called in. Bless them for their efforts in this time of need. We hope to stay inside for the day and stay as snug as bugs in a rug.

Winter is all around me, but eternal spring is in my heart.
Two more weeks.
Stay safe and warm!

Hi Cindy, 20 inches is a lot of snow. It is gorgeous but I know you are ready to be done with it.
In sympathy we had 4 inches overnight and woke to that over a layer of ice this morning. It's not the same, but a lot for us here in Texas.
We are now predicted to reach the 70's next week. I'll try and send some of that your way to melt the snow.
Have a great weekend.
Hugs, CM
